When lady Macbeth receives her husband letter about the witches prophecies, she’s worried he’s too kind to be a king. To her the essence of a king is to be evil.
“All hail Macbeth
Hail to thee thane of glamis
All hail Macbeth
Hail to thee thane of Cawdor
All hail Macbeth
Thou shall be king hereafter “
This structures the rest of the play and foreshadows what is to come for Macbeth. This motivates him for the rest of the play
“Stars hide your fire let not light see my dark and deep desires”
Rhyming couplet conveys Macbeth’s feelings at this point, he is determined to kill the king.
Macbeths fatal flaw
Macbeths fatal flaw is his ambition, which is the reason of his hamartia.
