What are uric stones?
A
- Made from chemicals in the urine
- Can be caused by having a high-protein diet, diabetes

How can kidney stones cause an infection?
A
- Due to waste products not being able to pass due to the blockage bacteria can build up which can cause an infection

What are struvite stones?
A
- They are kidney stones which are made from magnesium ammonium phosphate
- They can be caused as a result of having a urinary tract infection

What are cysteine stones?
A
- They are caused by the cystinuria disorder
- They are caused when cysteine leaks into the urine

A
- They can see if there is calcium or uric acid in the blood
