Kidney patterns - general
All chronic Kidney patterns are either deficient or mixed excess/deficient with the exception of acute Damp-Heat affecting the Bladder and Kidneys.
Kidney-Yin and Kidney-Yang have the same root. A deficiency in one implies a deficiency to some extent in the other. However, the deficiency will always be primarily either Yin or Yang
The Kidneys are nearly always affected in Chronic diseases.
