also called mercy killing. The act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, could be extreme medical measures or an animal or person suffering something incurable where it is better to end life

an ill person or someone actively requests to die

INVOLUNTARY EUTHANASIA
when an ill person or someone is unable to make such a request to die…. doctor or family members usually make it on their part
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
someone tries to take their own life
seen as a cry for help
ASSISTED SUICIDE
usually doctor- prescribing a lethal dose of medication-intentionally knowing consequences but wanting to relieve pain
