Where a person does not personally believe in a God or gods but does not go as far as to say there are none i.e. Someone that is not a theist
Natural evil
Suffering caused by events that have nothing to do with humans and which are to do with the way the world is, e.g. natural disasters such as the volcanic eruptions, floods or earthquakes
Moral evil
Suffering caused by humans acting in a way that is morally wrong e.g. Bullying, murder, rape, theft or terrorism

When animals have babies, they act differently. Random variation
What are some reasons for why people would be atheists?
Science can explain aspects of the world without a need for God as an explanation
There is no proof that God exists
All religions teach different things about God- they can’t all be right so they are most probably all wrong
The problem of evil
