A non directional hypothesis is a hypothesis that predicts an effect but the direction is unknown

A null hypothesis is a hypothesis which states there is no significant relationship between the two variables studied

The independent variable is the variable that is manipulated

A Dependent variable is a variable that is measured

I quantitive prediction is data that is easy to gather and calculate but doesn’t tell us much (the data that can be counted as numbers)
