The declaration of faith.

Hajj?
Muslims must pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime.
Pilgrimage?
A journey to a sacred place.

The 9th month of the Islamic year when Muslims fast.
Eid-al-Fitr?
A celebration which marks the end of the fast.
Sunni Islam?
Muslims who believed that Muhammad’s close friend Abu Bakr was the rightful Caliph after Muhammad’s death.
Shi’a Islam?
Muslims who believed that the Caliph should be someone related to Muhammad, and that Ali was the rightful leader after Muhammad.
Caliph?
The name given to the leader of Islam.
