Auricle

A spiral shaped canal in the inner ear thag contains the hearunv receptors

The protective membrane that lines the eyelid and covers the anterior of the sciera or the whige of the eye
Cornea
A transparent area on the front of the outer layer of the eye that acts as a window to let light into the eye
Eustachian
An opening in the midfle eaf leadjbv to the back lf the troat that helps equalize air pressure on borh sides of the eardrum
External auditory canal
Canal that carries sound waves to the tympanic membrane commonly called the ear canal
Gustatory cortex
An area of the brain that is responsible for interpreting tadtr sensations
Labyrinth
The inner ear
Lacrimal apparatus
A structure that consists of the lacrimal glands and nasolacrimal ducts
Organ of corti
The organ of hearing located within the cochlea of the inner ear

Small bones cavity or middle ear

A process in which the same chemical can stimulate receptors only for a limited amount of time until the receptors eventually no longer respond to chemical

A fibrous partition located at the inner end of the ear canal

The area in the ear between the semicircular canals and the cochlea
