Define integrity
Full commitment to knowledge and understanding, as well as the honest reporting of all sources of information and results
Define justice
Ensures that there is no unfair burden on a particular group from and action
Define beneficence
Maximises benefits when taking a particular position or course of action
Define non-maleficence
Avoiding actions which lead to harmful consequences
Define respect
Considering the wellbeing, freedom, independence, values, and beliefs of all people

What is the consequence-based approach?
Aims to maximise positive outcomes while minimising negative outcomes
What is the duty/rules-based approach?
Promotes the responsibility of the agent above all else (places importance on the duty of the individual)
What is the virtues-bases approach?
Emphasises the individual goodness of the agent, and promotes acting in accordance with the values of a ‘moral’ person
