Key facts Flashcards

1
Q

What are you announcing today?

A

1) To claim compensation for the overpayment our claimants made when leasing or purchasing their vehicle. They could be entitled to several thousand pounds (redress could be a percentage of the purchase price 20%, 50%)
2) To enforce compliance with emissions regulations, in circumstances in which it appears car manufacturers have simply ignored the rules for a very long time

3) To repair some of the environmental harm that NOx and other pollutants have caused
- To achieve that, each person who instructs us in these claims will confirm that – when we get to this far – one of the factors that must be taken into account when deciding whether or not to settle claims is the question of whether a particular manufacturer has committed to repairing or mitigating the damage done to the environment by these defeat devices.
