- the 4 Gospels are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

- Jesus’ taught how to love your neighbour
* He said this was his greatest commandment

This was a teaching of Jesus
We need to treat others the way we would like to be treated

A story with a hidden meaning
They were told by Jesus to help people understand God’s message
Religion
Having a belief in a god or diety
There are so many different religions in the world
Worship
A way people practice and show their faith in God
This can happen in a place of worship like a temple or at home
Sikhism
A religion who believes in one God that guides and protects them
It was founded in India by guru Nanak in the 16th century
Hinduism
A religion founded in India
Hindus believe in one God who has many forms for example Shiva
Prayer
A way people communicate with God
This is usually done through words
Piety
This means to be devout or dutiful
people can show their devotion and love for God by praying to him
Lords prayer
This is a prayer given by Jesus to all his followers
It is also known as the ‘our father’
Hail Mary
A Catholic Christian prayer to the virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus
The hail Mary is said as part of the rosary
