A condition in which many cultures coexist within a society and maintain their cultural differences.
Cultural diffusion
The spread of cultural trends across locations.
Multicultural
Relating to or containing several cultural ethnic groups within a society.

Relating to or containing several cultural ethnic groups within a society.
Communication
Can be verbal, non-verbal, physical - e.g their clothing.
Groups
Refers to the diversity of people in a society, e.g ethnic, religious, sexual orientation, etc.
Agents of socialisation
A person or institution that shapes an individual’s social development.
Stereotypes
The preconceived view of the characteristics of a group held by individuals who are not members of that group.

Shared expectations of behaviour that are considered to be culturally and socially desirable and appropriate.
