Explain what happens from when the oceanic plate enters the mantle.
When the oceanic plate reaches 200km the pressure is high enough for the crust to ment into lave. As the lava is lighter than the surrounding mantle, it rises to find a weakness in the surface.
What happened during the erruption?
An ash cloud was formed. Magma shot out of the volcano and melted the snow, to therefore cause a lahar.
