1) The basis, the object of your action
2) Motivation and intention
3) Actual procedure/ actual act

4 Modes of Karma
1) Karma done but not accumulated
2) Karma accumulated but not done
3) Karma not done and not accumulated
4) Karma done and accumulated
2 Points to Karmic Concomitancy
1) One will not experience the results of karma which one did not accumulate.
2) There’s no escape from the results of the karma one has already accumulated.
2 Types of Virtuous Karma
1) Contaminated Virtuous Karma- created by beings in Samsara, influenced by afflictions with no direct realization of the wisdom of emptiness
2) Uncontaminated Virtuous Karma- created by beings freed from samsara and afflictions and with the direct realization of the wisdom of emptiness
