Categorical imperative
Universal Law- your actions must be something you and all others can do and always will be able to do.
Never tell a lie = can be universalised
ENDS IN ITSELF- We should never treat people only as a means to an end- don’t take advantage of someone for your own benefit.
Universal Law- the world we must imagine where everyone acts morally.

Our actions should be something ourselves and others can and always will be able to do, accepted everywhere at all times.

Summum bonum
we must be able to be rewarded for our actions. He talked about the summum bonum - the place where our happiness and our virtue (good actions through doing our duty) come together.
