a suicide bomber about to die then looks down and sees fishes remembers building cairns with his brothers waiting for his father’s boat. he comes back home and eventually his family becomes silent around him. told in his daughters perspective

childhood memory reminding him of other duties brings internal conflict as he as he battles with completing his important mission

shows that the pilot possibly has regret for sacrificing his family over his life even though he did it to have more time with his family

goes from third to a little first then ultimately third again perspective. shows the alienation created by his family because of conflict
