Glimpse

This is a subject that you have to deal with comically.

A very strong feeling of no respect for someone or something that you think is stupid or has no value.
(She has nothing out but scorn for the new generation of politicians.)

An uncomfortable or embarrassed feeling.
She turned away to hide her discomfiture

Easily seen or understood

Humorous, especially in an unusual way.
A droll remark/expression/person.
Scantly
In a basic way; not a great extent:

To suddenly surprise or frighten someone
The sound startled me
Affair
A situation or set of related events, especially bad ones.
The government’s handling of the affair has been widely criticized.
Bold,boldness
Not frightened of taking risks.
It was a bold decision to go and live abroad.
