An event/action used as a model/guide for other events/actions

What is the Supreme Court?
A
The highest Judicial Court in a country or state

What is a Trial Court?
A
The first court, has a judge, can have a jury, where evidence is presented

What is an Appellate Court?
A
A court that hears legal cases that have already been heard in a lower level court (there are two levels of the appellate court)

A
The power to say weather or not a decision is constitutional or not

The president appoints them and the senate approves them
