In the Juries Act 1974 as amended by s123 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003

UK Resident for at least 5 years
Registered to vote
18+
Cannot be on bail

In hospital under mental health order
Needs assistance

How is it selected?
A
15 names chosen randomly - 12 selected to be in the jury.
DBS checks
Background checks to ensure no conflicts of interests
