Define Yom Kippur
It’s the holiest day, it means ‘Day of Atonement’ (repent: ask for forgiveness). Remind people to look back and ask for forgiveness for any wrong doing.
Define Rosh Hashanah
First day of the Jewish new year, high holy day. Reminds Jewish people that God created the world and everything in it
Define Passover
Celebrates Israelites escape from the slavery in Egypt. Reminder of their special relationship with God and to keep faith that God is always with them- even during difficult times.
