Values
Standards of behavior and things that we think are important in our lives
Ideology
A set of views or beliefs of a group or individual.
Viewpoint
The structured way in which we explain peoples opinions, this includes their point of view and ideology
Activism
Vigourus campaigning to bring about social and/or political change
Humanitariansm
The mindset of being concerned with the welfare of others and striving to improve the living conditions and lives of those less fortunate
Extremism
Activities far removed from the ordinary. Usually linked with negative actions and violence
Process of a cyclone
Warm air rises from the ocean, it leaves a space below it. This space is instantly filled by surrounding air rushing in, causing strong wind.
Rising air brings with it moisture. This cools and condenses to form towering storm clouds. This forms the eye wall.
When cooled air descends, it will form an area of calm in the center called the eye.
The spin of the earth leads to the storm starting to spin
Disaster
A natural or cultural event that leads to significant damage or loss of life
Imapct
The effects of any extreme natural or cultural event, this could be short term or long term
Response
A reaction to an event by a group or person that occurs after the event
1 - Remembered
The event/development was important at some stage withing the collective memory of a group or groups
2 - Resulting in change
It had consequences for the future
3 - Revealing
It reveals some other aspect of the past
4 - Remarkable
The event/development was remarked upon by people at the time and/or since. Could also be unusual, beyond the realm of normal life. Unexpected
