Joshuah at the Jordan River

A

Joshuah 3. Before the battle of Jericho, Israel spent the night camped along the Jordan river. The next day, twelve priests carry the ark infront of Bnai Israel into battle. Joshua tells them (and then it happens) that as soon as their feet hits the Jordan, the Jordan’s river waters pile up in a heap and Israel is able to cross the Jordan on dry land. The priests stand in the middle of the Jordan with the ark until everyone crosses.
