The south took 700 men and attacked the town of Lawrence, wrecked 2 newspaper offices and caused chaos throughout the town

Henry clay said that the Kansas and Nebraska territories were allowed to vote for pro or anti slavery
Who was Dred Scott?
He was a slave who sued his owner because he lived on free land for 12 years but was overruled by the court because slaves were not citizens, they were property
Who is john brown and what did he do?
Him and his sons attacked Pottawatomie hoping to start a slave rebellion, but failed and got killed
Who was Jefferson Davis?
He was the president of the confederate states of America
