Consolidation - When a Court can join separate cases
A
- Actions pending in lower court may consolidated by Supreme Court or county court; and
- court may consolidate actions, or specific issues, into a joint trial to avoid unnecessary cost and delay.

Joinder of Claims
A
can join as many claims in one complaint as he has against party.
Except 2 or more P’s sue on separate consumer credit transactions may join no more than 5 claims in any one action against the same D.
After an issue is joined any party may move for Summary Judgement
D may join as many counter claims and/or cross-claims he has against any adverse party.

Severance
A
court can sever claims or issues by
ordering a separate trial of claims or issues to
avoid prejudice or
for the sake of convenience.
