What is the point of third party practice?
Allows a defendant to say that a nonparty is actually liable (often for contribution) if the defendant is found liable.
What are the two types of counterclaims?
Compulsory (you MUST bring the claim) and Permissive, Per Rule 13.
Who can make a cross claim?
Either the original plaintiffs or defendants, if that cross claims arises from the same transaction or occurrence as the original claims. Per Rule 13(g).
