Tell us about yourself
When I was a kid, I had a real interest in computers. I couldn’t figure out how they worked. And one day, at the beginning of high school, my father bought me a book on C programming and I did my firsts programs on CodeBlocks and on Arduino platform.
I studied at the engineering school Enseirb Matmeca in Bordeaux.
This school offers courses in in electronics which include:
- Signal Processing
- Automation
- Analog electronics
- Digital electronics
In my last year of engineering school I specialized in digital electronics where I was able
to study hardware and embedded software in more depth.
Then I made my internship at Elsys-Design on a R&D project.
During my internship I worked on a R&D project named Karlab. The goal of this project was to set up an interactive
karting race in a mixed reality environment.
This project mixes different technologies : an electric kart, an electronic board, Hololens (Augmented Reality Glasses)
and a server. I worked on the electric kart and on the electronic board which was the electronic control unit (ECU)
of the system. This ECU was on a Jetson Nvidia TX2 card where was running the ERIKA automotive RTOS. I mainly
worked on the RTOS features development.
I’m currently working for Bosch as a consultant for Elsys-Design. I’ve been there for just over 1 year.
I am currently working on the BootROM code of a chip to be embedded in an autonomous vehicle. The BootROM code
does these different actions: Load a bootloader from a flash device to intern RAM memory (ICCM) of the ARC EM22FS
processor. As the BootROM code has time execution constraints, SPI controller is configured and used. I developed the
low‑level driver to use the SPI controller in Quad mode. Once the encrypted bootloader + cryptographic headers are
loaded, a decryption and an authentication are performed. I developed these cryptographic features. The BootROM
code has time execution constraints so Hardware IPs (from Synopsys) are used to increase the cryptographic algorithms
execution. I developed the drivers for theses HW Ips.
I’m hoping to move from France to Spain.

In my free time…. “Outside of the office, I’m running a lot and just made a marathon. I’m learning guitar by myself. And I like reading.
What are your strengths and weaknesses ?
My strengths are autonomous and autodidact. As I said before, I began to learn how to code during my high school. At the end of High school we had a project.
We were 5 on the project named iBike. The idea was the creation of a connected bike. Have a system that charges our phone and displays external data like speed and temperature like a dashboard.
I worked on the mobile application when I had never seen it before. I learned java on the job. And I did it.
My weaknesses : When I began my current job, I wasnt very rigorous. So I had to work and it And rework my code and documentation many times.
Describe your ideal work environment
What I really want at my new job is working directly with the Linux operating system, I really have something about it. The I want a good team cohesion. Where people helps each other. Actually, I really like to share knowledges with the others.
Why should we hire you and not another applicant
Canonical :
Because your Job offer is my dream. I really want to work on the Ubuntu Operating system and be part of the open source community. This position would be a real achievement for me and I will be very stimulate.
I think that I will not be just an employee who does its job but someone who bring a dynamic at company.

Are you a team player? Can you give me a concrete example of this
Yes I think that I am a team player.
Currently, I work as a consultant for Elsys-Design. My mission is at the Bosch company. Each month I have a number of tasks to complete. At the end of 2021 the project was late, and I work very late during 1 week to help my team. As a consultant I didn’t have to but I wanted to help my team. In the end, the project was delivered in time.
How do you organise your workload?
I cut up my work into small pieces and have a daily objective for myself. It keeps me motivated.
What motivates you?
There are a lot of things that motivates me :
Firstly ,The technical challenge, a technology that I can learn a lot.
To learn every day is very essential for me, I love it.
A manager who congratulates his team.
How do you like to be managed
I like to be challenged be the manager. And I also like the encouragements. Have the feeling that I’m really doing something for the team and for the open source community.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years
In 5 years I think that I will be a technical engineer like today. But with more knowledges and responsabilities. I know that I will continue to love what I am doing.
- Have you ever made a mistake at work? If so, how did you solve it?
Before a release on my previous project. I found that the size of the code was too big for the maximum BootROM code size. It was the end of the day and I worked very late to fix it.
What would you do if you had a different opinion from your boss about how to do something
Demand help of someone else in the team.
Describe a time when you used your initiative to overcome a challenge at work.
I developed drivers for the use of OSPI controller in QSPI mode. It was difficult to test it at the beginning because the flash devices emulation was not available. So I contacted the validation which has already worked on it. And I finally managed to test my drivers.
