What is Seder.
A
Seder means Passover and has a special plate (Seder plate) which has different foods on it.

What is on the Seder plate.
A
On the Seder plate there is a lamb shank a boiled egg parsley herbs lettuce and salt water and charoset

Charoset
A
Sweet dark coloured paste. It symbolises the mortar used by the Israelites to make bricks when they were inslaved by the Egyptians.

This is to remind the Jews of the slaves tears when they were slaves

Is to symbolise the suffering of the Israelites.

This symbolises the strength of the Jews to keep going.
