What is a Refugee?
A refugee is a person who’s been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution or natural disasters.
What other names can a refugee be called?
Displaced person, fugitive, asylum seeker, immigrant.

Why did Jesus have to become a refugee?
King Herod wanted to kill all of the baby boys, so Jesus had to flee to Egypt.
What is the Holy Trinity?
The three persons of the Christian GodHead; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Good News

Matthew, Mark and Luke.
Incarnation Definition
Being made flesh. Jesus is God incarnate.
The last supper definition
The final meal Jesus shared with his 12 Disciples before his crucifixion.
Crucifixion definiton
A method of execution used by the Romans where someone is nailed to a cross. This happened to Jesus on Good Friday.
Resurrection definition
The resurrection is when Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. Christians believe we will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement.
Ascension definiton
When Jesus rose up to heaven
What are the four Gospels?
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Why do you think it’s important to know the stories that are told in the Gospels?
- It’s important to let people now know what happened then.
- Jesus’ actual words were written so that Christians today can follow his teachings.
- The 4 versions of the gospels make a good historical account that can be trusted.
