The son of God and God himself
What does the Virgin birth represent?
That Jesus was both human and divine
Why do some people doubt Jesus was God?
Because his knowledge was limited when explaining things like the end of the world
How do Christians explain Jesus’ unknowing?
He had to sacrifice his eternal knowledge in order to take human form.
A human could not handle it
What does Jesus sacrifice of his eternal knowledge show?
That God loves us
Why did Jesus come down from heaven?
Because Humanity was losing touch with God
What does the temple curtain ripping apart at Jesus’ crucifixion symbolise?
The destruction of the barrier of sin that separated man from a God
What did Jewish leaders want Jesus dead?
Because his teachings gave a new understanding to the Torah
Why did Jesus have to die?
To atone for human sin so man could be reunited with God (salvation)
