A

A

He included ideas that drugs, powders ect. Can release a different side of us and reveal things. He also included ideas about dreams and sub-conscious thoughts.

How is this reflected in JandH?

A

They thought that disfigured people were ‘evil’. In JandH, Mr Hyde is disfigured and deformed and is clearly a despicable, evil character.

A

His health improves dramatically and as a result, he hosts a party.
This is because he stopped taking the potion after he murdered the man.

A

A

A

Lanyon was instructed to break into Jekyll’s laboratory and get specific ingredients for Mr Hyde.
He arrives and makes a potion. He asks if Lanyon wants to see this and he says yes.
Hyde drinks the glass and transforms into Dr Jekyll.
