The “way of the warrior” a samurai was expected to show reckless courage, reverence for the gods, fairness, and generosity toward those weaker than himself.

Lords who protected those loyal to them with a private army.

Dramas, in which the actors in elaborate customs using music dance and mime preformed

A military dictator that was able to gain power from the emperor and things like officials judges armies and roads under his authority.
