Yes, the story is based on her point of view, it’s restricted to the narrator’s perception/knowledge, we cannot see other people’s thoughts.
What can we say more about Jayne’s point of view ?
She has a retrospective point of view, she tells the story, many years after it happened.
What is a free narrative speech and why is it used ?
Free narrative speech is when the narrator talks while he narrates, like if it was his thoughts.
It gives an impression of intimacy between the narrator and the reader (biased narration)
