A

A coal Merchants cellar came up for rent and they rent it out and they packed it with 36 barrels of gun powder a man called Francis Tresham joined the plot because his brother would of been at the House of Parliament- Lord Montegle. But thoughts are that Francis sent an anonymous letter to his brother to tell him not to go to the Parliament meeting.

What did Lord Montege do?

A

He immediately told Robert Cecil and they waited till the night of the parliament and found Guy Fawks with matches and touch paper in the cellar . He was captured and tortured extremely badly. All the other men where caught too.
