Ch 1 - story of the door
Enfield explains how he saw a man (Hyde) trampling on a young girl. Because of this, he threatens to ruin Hyde’s reputation so Hyde goes back to his house and gets them a cheque
Chapter 2 - search for mr Hyde
Utterson finds Jekylls will which leaves everything to Hyde. Utterson visits Lanyon about Hyde but he knows nothing. Eventually Jekyll finds Hyde and has a bad experience
Chapter 3 - Dr Jekyll was quite at ease
Jekyll hosts a dinner party where Utterson asks Jekyll about Hyde. Jekyll begins to clearly panic.
Chapter 4 - the Carew murder case
A polite gentleman tries greeting Hyde, but he turns and beats the man to death with a walking stick. The police find a letter addressed to Utterson on the body and get him
Chapter 5 - incident of the letter
Utterson goes to Jekyll lab and finds him looking deathly sick. Jekyll claims Hyde has left and their relationship is over and says police won’t find hyde
Chapter 6 - remarkable incident of dr Lanyon
For 2 months Jekyll is back to normal but suddenly Jekyll refuses to see Utterson. Utterson visits Lanyon and finds him disturbed by something terrifying
Chapter 7 - incident at the window
Utterson and Enfield are on their usual walk when find Jekyll and start talking to him. Suddenly he switches and they get an uneasy feeling and leave
Chapter 8 - the last night
Poole visits Utterson asking for help. He thinks Jekyll has been replaced by a creature in his lab. They break into Jekyll room and find Hyde had killed himself
Chapter 9 - Lanyons narrative
Ch9 is a letter by Lanyon explaining what he saw. He says how Jekyll gave him a letter directing him get potions for him. Hyde transforms into Jekyll infront of Lanyon.
Chapter 10 - henry jekyll’s full statement of the case
Ch10 is a letter by Jekyll explaining everything. Begins by explaining his split personality. Then how he invests the potion and one day unexpectedly wakes up being Hyde. Then he tries controlling it but he can’t so he eventually kills himself
