what is IUGR?
A
birthweight less than 10th percentile for gestational age

what is assymetric IUGR?
A
preservation of the HC while the AC and FL lag behind

what is symmetric IUGR?
A
all parameters including the HC are small

what is end-diastolic flow?
A
flow through the umbilical artery measured by doppler US. Reverse end-diastolic flow is associated with a high stillbirth rate witihin 48 hours. Absent end-diastolic flow has moderately high stillbirth risk but can still be observed.
