Italy - Umbria Flashcards

1
Q

What is the general climate?

A

Warm, mild continental.
Hot summers can lead to heat stress.
Rainfall is an average of 800mm, mainly falling in autumn and winter, giving enough water to be stored in winter to be supplied throughout the growing season, and lessen the risk of fungal diseases.
