What is the equation of current in a transistor?
A
Small base current can switch on larger current through the collector.
Ie = Ib + Ic

How can we make an AND gate?
A
- Two transistors combined
- Small base current at A will switch on transistor
- Small base current at B will switch on second transistor
- A and B are needed for the current to flow

How do transistor currents limit the current?
A
They have a high resistor in the base circuit.

What is an OR gate?
A
Behaves like two switches in parallel, only needs one of them to allow current to flow.

What are NAND and NOR gates?
A
Behave the opposite to what they would be.
NAND - AND followed by NOT
NOR - OR followed by NOT
