It's literally all of it Flashcards
What are we doing for 7A part?
(3 things)

- Idk if i’m gonna be treble or bass clef O_o
What are we doing for 7C part?
(3 parts compared to 7A & 7B O_o)
(5-way)
- Identify the cadence at the end of a phrase
- Also identifying the 2 chords played forming the cadence
- Then examiner will play a different phrase
- and we need to identify what the modulation is at the end
- either dominant (V), subdominant (IV) or relative minor (minor…)
(ofc a major will be told to us first)
For 7C how do we respond to the cadence part?
- We respond with either:
1. Technical names (tonic, dominant)
2. Chord numbers (I, V)
3. Letter names (C major, G major)
Idrk what to opt for.
How to tell if it’s a perfect cadence?
From V to I
How to tell if it’s imperfect cadence?
From any chord to V
How to tell if it’s an interrupted cadence?
From V to IV
Practically anything but V - I or “any” - V
For 7C how do we respond to the modulation at the end part?
…. believing in the heart of the cards
What are we doing for 7D?
(3 part like 7C)
- Plays a song and we have to state things about it
- Asks 4 questions
- Last question always being style and period
- Then we clap the rhythm
- LASTLY, state the time signature of the rhythm
For 7D, what first 3 questions would they ask us?
