What are we doing for 7C part?

  • Identify the cadence at the end of a phrase
  • Also identifying the 2 chords played forming the cadence
  • Then examiner will play a different phrase
  • and we need to identify what the modulation is at the end
  • either dominant (V), subdominant (IV) or relative minor (minor…)
    (ofc a major will be told to us first)

    1. Technical names (tonic, dominant)
    2. Chord numbers (I, V)
    3. Letter names (C major, G major)
