Straight ahead - draw each frame as you go
Follow through - making appendages drag behind the main body
Slow in slow out - movements start slowly and get faster.
Arcs - most objects move in arcs
Secondary action - actions that support main action and add character
Timing - more frames = slower, less frames = faster

Cell based animation - sequence of still images - more frames the better
Path based animation - movement of an animated object on a fixed background in a particular sequence or path
List the 2 types of storyboards
Linear Storyboarding - Follows a straight line from one frame to the next. -Useful for movies and stories that follow a straight line
Non linear Storyboarding - Like a mind map - Is useful for games with alternative as user is allowed input
