Why do Islamic festival dates change?
Because the Islamic community follow the lunar calendar which means the following of the pattern of the moon. A lunar year has either 354 or 355 days instead of the regular is 365 which is why these festival dates change each year.

What do they do during Id-ul-adha ?
On the first morning Muslims will attend a morning prayer at a local mosque. This will include communal prayer and a sermon. Traditionally Muslims would sacrifice an animal however more commonly Muslims would buy halal meat which they will divide into three slices slice one is kept slice two is given to relatives or neighbours and slice three is given to the poor. They may also wear new clothes, gift, present, and young girls and women would decorate their hands.
