Role model for women and marriage
- Often subverted the expectations of women in society- A’isha was confident and questioned the prophet, challenging him at times. (Jahiliya- age of ignorance)
- Shows how Islam can empower women- she is an example of female leadership in religion and makes claims for more prominent engagement in the Muslim world for women’s right.

- Displayed unquestionable loyalty to the Prophetic teachings and revelation slander by the hypocrites against A’isha
- She demonstrated absolute obedience and submission, rejected wealth and was generous to others.

Slander of the affair
- A’isha was the catalyst for the slander revelations that protect women in compromising situations like hers.
- Her cause for revelation protects the innocent until proven as a legal canon- was seen as a blessing for humanity
- Women are trusted more- false conviction lessens
Battle of the camel
- The first violent division among Muslims occurred when the third caliph, Uthman, was killed by a group of Rebels- some suspected that Ali conspired in the murder
- Aisha raised an army which confronted Ali’s army outside the city of Basra as she wanted justice on the perpetrators of the assassination of Uthman- challenged Ali’s caliphate under the claim that Ali had been unsuccessful in finding uthman’s murderer.
