The holy law of Islam which covers all aspects of life

The idea that punishments should make criminals pay for what they have done wrong
What is deterrence?
The idea that punishment should put people off committing crime
What is reformation?
The idea that criminals should be taught not to commit crime again through rehabilitation, extra training or education
What is restorative justice?
Bringing those harmed by crime or conflict and those responsible for the harm together so that they can communicate

A document written by the United Nations in 1948 which outlines the rights of every person
