Using dry dirt to cleanse before prayer when there is no access to clean water

Voluntary giving to charity
Khums
The Shia belief that Zakah should be 20% rather than 2.5%
Ihram
Shaving heads, trimming beards, cutting nails and wearing a white, seamless piece of cloth for the Hajj period
Eid al-Adha
The large Eid festival remembering Ibrahim’s sacrifice of Ishmael to Allah. Allah tells Ibrahim a goat can be used instead and that is represented by a sacrifice of a goat
“So turn in prayer towards your Lord and sacrifice” (Qur’an 108:2)
Eid-al Ghadeer
The Shia festival of remembering Muhammad announcing the next prophet will be his cousin Ali. Sunnis disagree with this.
