Describe what happens during Ramadan (5)

A

During Ramadan, Muslims fast between the hours of sunrise and sunset. They break the fast everyday with a meal shared with family and friends called Iftar. People with valid reasons (such as pregnancy or illness) are exempt from fasting. However, all Muslims try to keep the month dedicated to their faith by praying more and giving money to charity (Zakah).
