A

keeps Muslims in close contact with Allah and encourages moral and spiritual discipline.

what does it involve doing?

A

fasting through Ramadan. it involves abstaining from music, sex and smoking.
Ramadan is a time of both physical/moral self-discipline. it shows obedience to Allah. this helps Muslims understand hunger, which makes them more willing to help others.

means striving or struggle
the two types are lesser jihad and greater jihad

A

is every Muslim struggle to obey Allah, follow his teachings and become a better Muslim
Its the greater struggle because its individual and personal

the struggle to make the world a better place. part of this struggle is fighting against poverty & injustice and defending Islam

the Kaaba in mecca is a holy site, many find that hajj helps their faith & increases unity.

festival celebrating obedience to Allah. it commemorates when Ibrahim nearly sacrificed his own son.
