Some relative contraindications to fibrinolytic therapy
A
- severe uncontrolled BP (>180/100)
- Prior ischemic stroke >3 months
- current use of anticoagulants with known INR >2-2
- Known bleeding diathesis
- recent trauma (past 2 weeks)
- prolonged CPR (>10 mins)
- Major surgery (<3 weeks)
- recent internal bleeding (within 2-4 weeks
- previously treated with streptokinase
- pregnancy
- active PUD
