Excuse me, where is the train station?
Perdón, ¿Dónde está la estación de tren?
The station is close to the hotel.
La estación está cerca del hotel.
The hotel is far from the bus stop.
El hotel está lejos de la parada del autobús
We are next to the café.
Nosotros estamos al lado del café.
Note☆
• In spanish, we never say de el. Instead, the words are combined into del.
• Similarly, a & el are always combined into al.
• But de & a with la, los, or las.
Example:
▪︎ ¿Por que no quieres ir a los parques?
Why don’t you want to go to the parks?
Is the hotel to the left or to the right?
¿El hotel está a la izquierda o a la derecha?
I want to go to the airport in the morning.
Quiero ir al aeropuerto en la mañana.
Manuel has red pants, a red t-shirt & his shoes are also red.
Manuel tiene pantalón rojo, una camiseta roja, y sus zapatos también son rojos.
I have small & large t-shirts.
Yo tengo camisetas pequeñas y grandes.
Mom, why don’t you wear these t-shirts?
Mamá, ¿por qué no usas estas camisetas?
