associated with altered bowel frequency stool form

in addition to 2/4 symptoms-

-altered stool passage (straining, urgency, incomplete evacuation)

-abdominal bloating (more common in women than men),

-distension, tension or hardness

-symptoms made worse by eating

-passage of mucus
