A
The opposite of what is expected
Ie. you wash your car and then it rains.

Dramatic irony
A
When the reader or audience are aware of something that the characters in the story are not
Ie. Romeo and Juliet make plans for a happy future the audience actually knows that there going to die
Dramatic irony makes the reader feel suspenseful
