What is radiation?

Radiation is when heat travels from one place to another as an electromagnetic wave (like light does).

Why do different sides of the Lesley cube have different temperatures?
A
Different sides emit different amounts of radiation. Black or matte surfaces- good at emitting/absorbing IR radiation. White/shiny surfaces are bad at emitting and good at reflecting IR radiation.

Why would you feel hotter on a sunny day wearing black than you would wearing white?
